As mentioned before, I have, over the years, taken numerous healing touch courses.
I call what I practice "Intuitive Touch" because ultimately, I end up applying a number of the different techniques I have studied (see further below) in the course of each healing session. No two sessions will ever be totally similar.
An initial physical, emotional and spiritual, if need be, intake is taken with the animal’s caretaker upon the first meeting. Assessment of what each caretaker seeks is made, and checked upon at the beginning of each new visit.
My time with a pet is clearly not a substitute for medical care and supervision but is certainly a strong and supportive adjunct.
"Intuitive Touch" is a combination of Usui and Karuna Reiki, and may or not include the use of Young Living Essential Oils, Acupressure and Trigger Point release and Flower Essences.
As mentioned, the techniques being used vary according to each animal's needs. Depending on the animal’s needs and patience threshold, a session typically lasts anywhere form 8-45 minutes.

The treatment room is very conducive to healing and is both physically and spiritually cleansed daily. A water fountain runs continuously, and the temperature is comfortable. Healing music is always subtly on, unless otherwise requested.
