I started tapping into the mysteries and wonders of the eastern worlds when I decided to pursue a Bachelor's in East Asian Studies at the University of Maryland. Getting to live and study in China a while only strengthened my interest for the "different".
Life would then take me in a totally different direction but eventually, I returned to familiar grounds and enrolled for a Master's in Human Acupuncture at the Traditional Acupuncture Institute in Columbia, MD.

Growing up around animals, I always felt a deep love for them, and my whole world brightened up when I found out that animal acupuncture was going to be offered.
In 1999 I further specialized into Animal Acupuncture. Ever since then my acupuncture practice has been solely dedicated to treating animals.
In order to offer a wider array of healing modalities to the animal specie, I have also become a Master in Usui Reiki (a form of healing touch), a Level II Practitioner of Karuna Reiki, a Young Living Essential Oil Therapist and a Flower Essence Therapist.
Part of my work also consists in helping people and animal owners to become more "aware” and pro-active in the care of their animals.

I strive to keep things simple for my clients and will not hesitate to share what I have come to know over the years of practice.
This will include conversations regarding nutrition and supplements.
Only by becoming more informed and involved will we all make more progress towards better health.
Offering guidance and healing sessions regarding the subject of Death and Dying has also become part of my regular practice.

Since studying will always remain an intrinsic part of my life, I follow the teachings of a number of renown practitioners such as Dr. Allen Schoen, DVM, pioneer of Veterinary Acupuncture in the States, Eric Serejski, M.Ac., pioneer of Systems Energetics Applied.
I have also studied the use of Flower Essences with Sharon Callahan, Animal Communicator and Creator of the Animal Anaflora line of flower essences, and the use of animal communication with Carol Gurney, Animal Communicator and Body Balancing Techniques Creator and Teacher, and Karen Wrigley, an Animal Communicator I have come to collaborate with on many of my cases.
I currently have a private practice in Silver Spring and also offer regional house-calls after case analysis.
